Compiler:          Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.23-gentoo-r6

Would be nice if KMail wouldn't play any  sound for a mail classified as spam.

Move the spam to a spam folder (by using filters), and disable "act on new/unread messages for this folder" for that folder.

See also bug 118213 if that does not work.
