Description Pavel Zheltobryukhov 2008-01-30 20:33:48 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I use additional test account for working with KDE4 and found that

- if I start KDE4 session with test account from power off state or after reboot, all applications (both Qt and GTK) in KDE4 session start very slowly, working with big delayed responses on mouse clicks at panel icons and windows controls, with slow redrawing windows when it content changed. But there is no high CPU consumption or memory leaks here. All windows effects disabled.

- if I start KDE3 session first with my primary account, then logout from KDE3 to kdm, switch account to test and log into KDE4 - all apps works good without any visible delays.

I use RoverBook B400L laptop (formerly Clevo M350C) with Celeron-M 1400MHz, 1024M RAM, i855GM onboard video with 65535K video RAM

How I can debug this?
