Version: (using KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Typical case is that crash occurs, users saves the log, everything is ok. But what about this: * I shutdown the system (soft power-off button) * all apps are closing * black screen, still graphics mode * 2-4 seconds... * crash window appears, without window decoration * after 1-1.5 seconds it vanishes * 2 seconds later my computer is off There is no chance I could be able to save this log (not mentioning I am rarely nearby after pressing power-off). Please, save all crash logs automatically -- to /var/log/KDE for example. If user chooses to save the log by him/herself it could be moved, symlinked, or copied. But there would be a guarantee that no log is lost.
KDE session will not exit fully if there are drkonqi windows open. If you computer turns off before, it is a system problem.
> KDE session will not exit fully if there are drkonqi windows open In KDE3 this is not true, I saw a lot of times drkonqi and system shutting down at the same time (drkonqi was killer or closed in the process). So I hope you are referring to KDE4.
