Description Jörg Hermsdorf 2008-01-28 23:40:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

In Kickoff, you can currently right-click any item and hit 'Add to Desktop' to create an icon widget for that application.

It would be nice, if this could also be achieved by "Drag and Drop", too.

i don't know if a drag and drop function would be nice, because a person with little reflex can cause a disaster.
But an option to put the widget in the desktop would be nice

"In Kickoff, you can currently right-click any item and hit 'Add to Desktop'"

Where? I am missing that menu so much!

Sorry. My fault. Searched in the traditional menu
Comment 4 Hans Chen 2008-03-10 21:23:45 UTC
Already possible in trunk.
Comment 5 Gael Beaudoin 2008-03-10 22:21:07 UTC
As said in above comment, working in trunk, both by right clicking and drag & drop.
