Description Brian DeRocher 2008-01-28 02:11:09 UTC
Version: 1.9.7 (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I started an email and saved it as a Draft. My Draft folder is configured via Edit Identity / Advanced to use an IMAP folder.

I opened another email to copy some text from. I did not use control-c control-v. I just highlighted the text and pasted with middle mouse button.

When i paste the text into the draft message, Kmal freezes and crashes in about 5 seconds.

When i restart Kmail, the draft message is gone.

The error is reproduceable.

Please add a backtrace, see http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

I believe this has already been fixed in recent versions.

Closing. No response and I think it's fixed.
