Description Chris Riley 2008-01-27 22:45:06 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I just upgraded my Kubuntu 7.10 laptop to kde4 using the repositories. I had an existing shell script in ~/Desktop. This script shows up in KDE4, but clicking on it does not run it, as it did in KDE3. Instead it loads it into the Kate editor. Please fix this so that clicking on a shell script on the desktop runs the script.

as long as it is marked as executable, this works (just tested)
