Description Livio 2008-01-27 22:07:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When a docked application in systray is restored, the windows' position is moved a few pixels (the size of a half of a character) to right and down.

I observed the fact in Kopete, Juk and KGet, docking to systray and restoring some times to see the window moving right and down.

I can confirm that behavior.

easy to follow was to reproduce it. tested with akregator and kopete.

Open the application
minimize it (not to systray, just minimize to taskbar)
bring it up again, but not by clicking on the taskbar entry, but by clicking on the systray icon connected to that app.

see how the position is shifted like (50/50) down right.
