Currently the OOD&P/JC event doesn't show in korganizer at all. I'll reattach the crosslinked .ics file to this bug in case the link vanishes.
Created attachment 27599 [details] testcase This is the offending file. Check February 5th/6th 2008 for the OOD&J/PC event
That file has events with duplicate UIDs. http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2445 4.8.4.7 Unique Identifier "The UID itself MUST be a globally unique identifier. The generator of the identifier MUST guarantee that the identifier is unique." If you change the UID it works.
i just asked our user if this bug is valid for him. i will give here his answer as soon as i have it
From the user : " Well, Korganizer on 2010 doesn't display the event at all now. I am not sure what is better - not displaying it at all or displaying it on a wrong date. The error is certainly not reported. "
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
