Version: (using KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux When my computer starts, sometimes I have a message saying me "DCOP server is willing to access kdewallet, authorize?". I don't remember what happen if I accept But If I refuse or wait too long, then kopete is not able to connect (clicking connect or disconnect then connect again will do nothing), I have to restart it and it connects fine. I'm using exclusively the jabber protocol.
I believe this is fixed in KDE 4.1 trunk. If it is possible for you to get this, test it, and tell us what happened, that would be great.
this isn't fixed in trunk. i've had it happen to me if i get distracted while initially starting kopete.
I assume this is fixed in trunk. At least DBus calls to the wallet can no longer timeout. Can you confirm this is gone?
I can now confirm this is gone. Closing.
