Version:           1.0.4 (using 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.1)
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

After burning data to a DVD project with VERIFICATION selected, after the burn phase the DVD is ejected. The program hangs at 50 percent completion and nothing happens for minutes. When manually closing the Cd/DVD tray nothing happens: no verification is made at all. No way to know it the burned DVD is correct. 

Seen on many different occasions, but always on the same drive and computer. 

K3b 1.0.4. using KDE 3.5.8.

The PC has both Gnome and KDE desktop. I normally use Gnome (boot up default) and under Gnome this happens. Likely not to be dependant of the desktop.
