Version: svn (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources OS: Linux Current KMail (from SVN, compiled yesterday all KDE's svn things) has a problem with KWallet. It asks for password ALWAYS when exitting KMail which is useless: I created accounts, and saved its passwords, it asked me the KWallet pssword to save them (OK), I check email and it asks me the KWallet password (OK), but after reading email without doing anything else, in exit, it asks me password again (useless). Other problem is that in that exit, I type the KWllet password, and icons in system tray are corrupted (it display the last icon correctly (last=the one who is closest to clock) but a "half" of that icon in last place. Maybe this is related to bug #97324 and #97699.
>Current KMail (from SVN, compiled yesterday all KDE's svn things) has a problem with KWallet. Which SVN branch? Trunk, the 3.5 branch or the enterprise branch? This should be fixed in trunk.
I am using trunk version of kde's svn code, revision: 765383. Anyways, I'll check if it's fixed this night.
So your KMail version is 1.9.50 (you can find it in Help->About KMail)? I just tried it, and it works fine for me. I created an account, checked my mail and then exited KMail. The wallet password was only asked once, after I clicked OK in the config dialog. Please provide exact steps how to reproduce the problem, starting with a clean config file (remove your kmailrc file, but make a backup somewhere).
I cannot reproduce the kdewallet problem anymore (by now), I deleted all kde config and restarted session. *BUT* the other problem (the corruption of system tray's icon) is still here. SVN Revision: 771232
>*BUT* the other problem (the corruption of system tray's icon) is still here. That's not a KMail problem, but rather a kdelibs/plasma/systemtray/kwallet/whatever problem, don't know myself. Please report that separately (and not to KMail). Only one bug should go into a bug report. Closing this bug report because the main issue can't be reproduced.
