Version: (using KDE 4.0.0) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I'm not sure if this has been reported as a wish or want recently, but I would like to see the new task bar kicker replacement to be more like the older kicker. I like all the updates to the desktop for the most part in KDE4.0 but I would like to be able to make the new task bar re-sizable, color changeable, and transparent capable? Also change the kickoff menu to another menu system. Maybe this is all in the pipeline but I thought I would put in my vote.
Are you talking about the actual taskbar or the panel? As for both, I think more options will come.
this is getting marked invalid because it is multiple reports in one so i can't triage it any more effectively than that. *please* report *one* issue per report. unless, of course, you don't mind having your reports summarily dismissed. as for this particular report, the panel already is color changeable and transparent capable but you require a decent svg theme and composite. resize is in other report, as is UI for theming and what not, "change kickoff" is way too vague to be useful (we do provide the option already of using a more traditional kmenu, though)
