Description Oliver Putz 2008-01-16 22:00:58 UTC
Version:           0.6.80 (using 4.00.80 (KDE 4.0.80 >= 20080104), Gentoo)
Compiler:          i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-gentoo-r9

Today I had a file opened in okular and when I renamed / unrenamed some other file in konqueror, all of a sudden okular crashed with the following backtrace:

Comment 1 Albert Astals Cid 2008-01-16 22:37:37 UTC
well, it seems to have crashed while trying to render a page. Can you try to open the document that produced the crash and browse through all its pages and see if it crashes again?
Comment 2 Oliver Putz 2008-01-17 00:09:39 UTC
Hi! Regrettably I cannot recall which document was open while okular crashed, but I just browsed through all possible documents. Regrettably, none of the browsing resulted in a crash. The thing also is: As far as I recall, I was doing something *not* okular related when it crashed. (Rather playing around with some files in konqueror than using the okular instance that crashed.)
Comment 3 Pino Toscano 2008-02-27 00:15:13 UTC
Any news about this "seemingly random crash"?
Comment 4 Oliver Putz 2008-02-28 14:31:44 UTC
Hm, the only news is that I never saw this kind of backtrace again...
Comment 5 Pino Toscano 2008-02-28 14:38:36 UTC
Then please reopen in case it happens again (hopefully never...).
