Description Visa Jokelainen 2008-01-16 08:44:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Compiler: gcc version 4.1.3 20070929 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.1.2-16ubuntu2)
OS: Linux

I accidentally pressed the menu buttown when editing keyboard shortcuts for desktop effects. It popped up a "What's this" dialog which couldn't be closed. I could do nothing in the X but to read the "What's this" help text. I had to hop to tty1 and kill the process. Couldn't find out which process generated the dialog so I killed the whole X.

It seems that it does not happen every time. I managed to reproduce it once though. You have to be editing the shortcut when the menu key is pressed.

Have you experienced this bug again with a recent KDE version?
Thanks
