Description Bill Chan 2008-01-16 07:52:24 UTC
Version: 3.0.0 (using 4.00.00 (KDE 4.0.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

After a document is modified outside Kate, I press F5 to reload it. It works fine for single view, but for split view, the non-focused view scrolls to the top after reloading.

I can confirm this too.
Comment 2 Dario Andres 2008-11-29 21:25:32 UTC
I can reproduce this bug using KDE4.1.3 on ArchLinux x86_64
Comment 3 Dario Andres 2008-11-29 23:38:47 UTC
I can also reproduce it in KDE4.2svn (kdelibs rev. 890671 / kdesdk rev. 890671) in my ArchLinux x86_64 box
Comment 4 Dario Andres 2009-01-03 18:38:16 UTC
Here using:

Qt: 4.4.3 + qt-copy-patches-889120
KDE: 4.1.87 (KDE 4.1.87 (KDE 4.2 >= 20090101))
kdelibs svn rev. 904849 / kdebase svn rev. 904849
on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.10

I can still reproduce it.
