Description Ildar Nurislamov 2008-01-15 20:29:21 UTC
Version: 4.0.0 (using KDE KDE 4.0.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Search toolbar doesn't work. Impossible to add or change search engines. By default google selected on the toolbar but only "Find in this page" really works. When trying to find with google - Popup with "Protocol unsupported Google" message appears. Browser settings of search engines doesn't work for toolbar.

I have the same problem. KDE trunk is built from Gentoo overlay.

After some recent svn update the bug disappeared for me. Now I can successfully use search bar in Konqueror. Can anyone confirm?

For me the Bug did not disappear. Did i do anything wrong? I use the STABLE Packages from openSUSE build-servive.
Comment 7 Ildar Nurislamov 2008-02-15 20:19:39 UTC
Fixed in last KDE4 STABLE packages from 15 Feb.
My KDE version now: KDE 4.0.1 (KDE 4.0.x >=20080201)
