Version: (using KDE KDE 4.0.0) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux In plasma, the "Add Widgets" menu has 3 buttons: Get New Widgets, Add Widget, and Close. The tooltip text and "what's this" for the "Add Widgets" button are incorrect. They are generic text for an "apply" button and are the following: "Apply changes" "When clicking apply, the settings will be handed over to the program, but the dialog will not be closed. Use this to try different settings." I would expect different, more relevant text.
Indeed. Will attach a patch.
Created attachment 23046 [details] Patch for correct tooltips and qwhatsthis on Add Widget dialog Andrew you might want to improve the strings as I am not a native English speaker and I seem to lack imagination this morning. Thanks! Aaron, should I ask for 4.0 branch inclusion to i18n translators?
thanks annma =) "on your desktop" => "to your desktop" perhaps... otherwise, looks good. and no, i don't think this is vital enough to warrant a string exception for the 4.0 branch imho.
