Version: (using KDE KDE 4.0.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux The dialog to configure time between background changes is a bit unclear as to the units it uses. I agree that it doesn't take much thinking to guess that it's hours:minutes:seconds, but from a usability point of view, it could probably be more explicit. Thanks for your attention.
how does this look to everyone? http://bddf.ca/~aseigo/time.png p.s. i way prefer these kinds of conversations on panel-devel rather than b.k.o =)
I like it. :-) Maybe there is a risk for the dialog to become too large because of that. But from a clarity point of view, it's perfect. Thank you.
the components above it are even wider, so no worries on size i don't think. might be a bitch for the translators, but i'm sure thye'll live too =)

personally I'd prefer to see a dropdown box for choosing units, and have a spinbox for the number. does anyone really need to specify 3 hours 1 minute and 4 seconds? but I'm too lazy to do anything about it.
