This bug (or feature) is pretty annoying (still happens in 4.0.4) Is there any update on this?
I switch from Ubuntu 6.06 to 8.04. I have an sd reader in my X41 Lenovo laptop and I work on it (I save everything and work on it). I use sleep mode intensively and everytime I wake up, my sd card is remount and auto link are lost. If I reboot, files can't auto open because link is lost from last session. Everything was working fine with 6.06. Very annoying...
I think this is a solid issue.
Works for me on KDE 4.2.
