Version: 1.7 (using KDE 3.5.8, compiled sources) Compiler: Target: i486-slackware-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.23.12 Using Xorg 1.4 and the ATI driver from xorg all the KDE multimedia system doesn't work to play a video. And after I executed kaboodle, for example, to watch a video from Konqueror, than Konqueror freeze and I have to kill it. When I reopen Konqueror than it goes freezing directly without doing any operation on it. When I log out KDE I cannot anymore. I get the dark screen with the mouse pointer like when I try to logout, but it stops there. I have to force as root "init 3" to shutdown KDE. I play the video correctly with xine-ui . Why this very very strange thing of KDE?
