Description Roland Wolters 2008-01-06 13:00:31 UTC
Version: 1.9.6 (enterprise 0.20071123.740460) (KDE 3.5.8-19.fc8 Fedora) (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

When I create a new message and want to enter a new To-address kaddressbook entries show up as soon as I start writing. However, all kaddressbook entries with german umlauts are missing and do not appear there.

How to reproduce:
For example I have these three contacts in my kaddressbook:
Jörn
Jan
Julia
When I now create a new address and enter a "J" into the To-line, I only see the kaddressbook entries Jan and Julia. When I enter Jörn by hand (like Jörn <joern@kde.org>) kmail will in the future show me this address as a previously entered address. Also I'm shown <joern@kde.org> as a ressource, maybe because I previously answered an e-mail from him?!

Works fine for me, my contacts with umlauts show up fine.
Are you sure you added a mail address to Jörn in the addressbook?

Yes. But the problem is gone now: Fedora just updated the package to a much newer svn build, and it works now. I close the bug therefore.
