Description Rémy Lopez 2008-01-06 11:58:28 UTC
Version: inconnu (using KDE 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.1)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

When I browse my mails on website such as hotmail with Konqueror (didn't try firefox), a bug report prompts and says that the unknown program nspluginviewer crashed and sent a SIGSEGV signal.
I'm using Kubuntu 7.10 with KDE 3.5.8 (on a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pa 2510 laptop).
Comment 1 Pino Toscano 2008-01-06 12:43:43 UTC
Let me guess... using a version of flash greater than 9.0 r48?
Comment 2 Christophe Marin 2008-06-01 17:46:19 UTC
Probably duplicate of bug 132138.
Comment 3 sacarde 2008-11-09 09:01:47 UTC

KDE Crashed on Sabayon x64 Live (3.5.10?) Asus G2K-A1 laptop w/ ST 9320421ASG HD. Was trying to read Yahoo mail w/ Konqueror. Unable to create valid back trace. As far as I know Flash player was not involved,as I have not downloaded any. Can attempt to recreate from installed OS if desired

I have similar errors related to the 64 bit flash.so in KDE 4.2 and can verify that Firefox is also affected. The newest version of nsplugin viewer apparently has a compatibility problem. The file was updated yesterday and I had no problems before. I won't give up on flash 64x as it has worked perfectly. Guess I'll roll back to the last version of nspluginviewer.

Assigning this bug to nspluginviewer.

The crash seems to be inside the flash-plugin, which is not a KDE product
