Version: SVN revision 757663 (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources Compiler: GCC 4.1.3 OS: Linux The "Add Widgets" dialog has these nice categories in which each entry has a favorite and in the case of widgets that are installed in a containment a 'delete' (score style) icon. When you are n the Currently Running Widgets category and you click on a delete-button to remove a widget, it will not automatically disappear from that section, though reloading works. Not a mayor problem at all, just logics.
I believe this is actually supposed to be this way. the favourites filter works the same way, and I've seen filters behave like this in other apps. while I thought it odd at first, I realised that it's actually more convenient to not have them vanish immediately. makes it easier if you change your mind.
except that it really doesn't make sense to continue showing them as currently running when they aren't =) this list really ought to get updated when the applet goes away.
This happens in KDE 4.0.0, but the menu *will* update if you mouse over the applet, but it won't before you do that.
*** Bug 154549 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
The "remove widget" button is gone from the add widgets dialog in 4.1
With 4.1 just around the corner, it's time to close off 4.0 bugs. In the off chance that I'm wrong in believing this to be fixed in 4.1, please reopen. :) There's nothing to be updated be external activity in the current dialog, so I'm half-heartedly closing this as WORKSFORME.
