Description Bill Egert 2008-01-05 16:33:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

When resizing the Notes widget, I get to a point where the yellow post-it note disappears and I get sections of my background picture in its place. Resizing above and below this point correctly draws the yellow note.

hm.. i can't reproduce this one. what version or rev# from svn are you using? also, could you reproduce the problem, run `kquitapp plasma` from a konsole, then send me (or attach it here) your plasma-appletsrc file? thanks

I used to see this, until I turned composite on. I thought it had just been coincidence that the problem went away the same day...
I don't think I even needed to resize anything to trigger it.
intel drivers here, btw.

Well. The good news is that I can no longer reproduce this. The not as good news is that this is after a re-install of my system. I was using Kubuntu 64bit, but was having weirdness with my drivers it seems, so I opted to install Kubuntu 32bit over my other install. I have home on its own partition so it didn't take to long to get back up and running.

I am now definitely using composite with the nvidia driver provided through Kubuntu. Everything is running along smoothly so far.

right, so driver issues rather than plasma issues (i love x.org). thanks for keeping the report up to date =)
