Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Currently, if you want to use a SMB printer you need to do the following: - choose anonymous login - Scan the network - click the network group of your computer to see your computer's name - go back - choose guest login - click on the name of your computer - click on your printer's name I've made a patch to fix that by looking at what system-config-printer(the fedora/gnome printer tool) did. This patch has already been accepted in Ubuntu and will be part of Ubuntu 8.04
Created attachment 22847 [details] Patch to fix smb browsing. The patch I mentioned in the bug description.
