Version: (using KDE KDE 3.97.0) Installed from: Mandriva RPMs OS: Linux If you activate the Plasma-Dashboard (Ctrl+F12) and select "Add widget" the Add-Widget dialog is opened but it looks corrupt. You can see what I mean at the attached screenshot.

This is true (I'm not using composite, but the from the screenshot I'm guessing the reporter is). All the widgets are in front of the plasma desktop view, but the dialog background and window decorations are not (I don't know whether they are missing or somehow "behind" the dashboard).
Yes composite is active. ;-)
