Description Vincent Petry 2008-01-03 16:53:30 UTC
Version: 0.1.4-38 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Steps to reproduce:
1. Select a picture in digikam (my version is 0.9.2-70.2)
2. In the menu, select "tools"->"batch processing"->"batch resize".
3. Select "proportional with 1 dimension".
4. Click "Options"
5. Select a size smaller than the pictures (ex: 1024, I resized from 3872x... to 1024x...)
6. Select a different output folder.
7. Start the process.
8. Go to the output folder.
9. Look at the picture's dimensions

Expected result:
The reported picture dimensions are the ones from the resized picture. (1024x... or accordingly)

Actual result:
The reported picture dimensions are the same as the ones from the original pictures.

If I open the files in gimp, I can see that they have been resized correctly. Only the meta data seems to stay unchanged. I guess the meta data was only copied into the new file without processing.

Thanks.
