Version: 1.4.8 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages The lastfm "Skip" button in Amarok does not work anymore, while it works in the official lastfm client itself (tested with 1.3.2.14.dfsg-1ubuntu1). I've used wireshark to sniff the network traffic and there are different requests involved: Amarok makes a GET request to ws.audioscrobbler.com/radio/control.php (see src/lastfm.cpp) and receives "response=OK". The lastfm client itself makes a POST request to ws.audioscrobbler.com/1.0/rw/xmlrpc.php instead. It seems that the currently used protocol has been dropped.. see "How do I Ban / Skip / Love tracks?" in the lastfm dev forum: http://www.lastfm.de/forum/21716/_/351390 See also http://www.last.fm/group/Amarok+Users/forum/18538/_/310660 for other reports of this problem. This has been reported for Ubuntu at https://launchpad.net/bugs/156431
Amarok and the official last.fm client use different protocols. no need to report this problem since we know about it, and will be fixed for 2.0. Also, there is another bug filed for it.
