Description Jo Scheuchenpflug 2007-12-30 23:53:45 UTC
Version: 0.9.2-final (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I would like to use some the exif data (for me Cameratype and time and date of shot image would be sufficient) to change the standard name of the camera files from
dsc_xyz.nef
to
NIKON-D70-20071230-170611.nef
where
NIKON-D70 is the camera type
20071230 is the date of shot image
170611 is the time of shot image
nef is the original extension

I have no idea whether it would be necessary to remove ":" or change the blanks in exif data to nothing

but this way I could use this great program with several cameras without the need of an exernal renaming program.
Thanks

Jo

Jo,

All you wish is already implemented in 0.9.2... Look in CameraGui/Settings/File Renaming sidebar tab options...
