Description mutlu inek 2007-12-27 21:09:23 UTC
Version: 3.97.1 (SVN r753240) (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 4.2.2
OS: Linux

When you make an application's toolbar float, the next time you start the application the toolbar becomes a glitch. It is displayed as a fragment of the screen. Its buttons are neither displayed nor can they be clicked. The toolbar cannot be moved. In Kwrite, I can hide the toolbar, but if I show it again, it is still broken. The only 'solution' is deleting ~/.kde/share/config/kwriterc

To reproduce run KWrite, make the toolbar float, exit KWrite and start it again.

Since 4.0.1 this is not reproducible as easily. A disconnected toolbar will be drawn correctly when the app starts up. Opening a second instance of the app (e.g. by clicking on the icon for "new document" in Kwrite) will break the toolbar as it did previously. Restarting the app does not fix the toolbar. The toolbar can, however, still be moved with the mouse and re-docked into the application. After re-docking the broken toolbar and then restarting Kwrite, the toolbar works well again.

I just checked with 4.1 final. The bugs has been resolved. :)

Thanks to all!
