Description Christoph 2007-12-27 04:18:17 UTC
Version: 1.6.6 (using KDE 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.1)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

When dragging a file into a console window a menu pops up that allows for certain commands to be executed (e.g., a cd into the directory containing the file). When this is done for a session where "send input to all sessions" is enabled, that command is not broadcast to the other sessions. This behavior seems inconsistent and was not what I expected. For those who may wonder why anybody would want to cd into the same directory in several sessions simultaneously: I wanted to cd to different subfolder from there and have the same commands executed in those subfolders.

Confirmed in KDE 3. Not relevant to KDE 4 since the popup menu has been removed.
Comment 2 Robert Knight 2008-04-13 21:02:53 UTC
Still valid for KDE 3. Not present in KDE 4 after re-implementing the feature.

Marking as fixed per comment #2
