Can't reconfirm, works fine here using 3.97.1 release 6.5 from the opensuse build-service.

What version of KDE4 are you using? RC1? RC2? Lastest SVN? Something else?
Comment 4 David Heidelberg 2007-12-23 15:48:45 UTC
Lastest SVN, with older releases Wallpaper change working, with new not working...
Comment 5 Alex Merry 2008-01-05 16:07:58 UTC
Can you update to latest SVN and tell me if it still happens? I think it might be related to Bug 155122.
Comment 6 David Heidelberg 2008-01-05 20:10:35 UTC
Working correctly :-) Thanks
Comment 7 Sebastian Vahl 2008-01-09 14:47:45 UTC
The same problem happens with kdebase-workspace-4.0.0 rpms from fedora/rawhide (development version). The wallpaper only change if I re-login. Clicking apply and ok isn't working here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=428131

@Vahl: the fix was after 4.0.0
