Version: 0.9.3-rc1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux In an album with lots of photos named dsc_NNNN.jpg I wanted to look up a photo with a specific number, so I typed the number in the search-textfield below the thumbnails. This didn't find anything. Also if I typed 'd' it didn't find anything. Apparently the search only looks through tags. But in the manual it is suggested that it also searches the filenames.
Ruth, it search around filenames if these one are displayed on icon view (check album settings dialog page)... Gilles Caulier
O, I see.. I think there is something to say for that. Perhaps it could be mentioned in the manual? Anyway thanks for the quick reply.
Maybe something like "Note, that the filter is only used for those fields which are actually displayed in the icon view. E.g. filename matching only works if filenames are displayed.. The fields which are displayed can be configured in the album settings dialog." Gerhard?
