Description Grósz Dániel 2007-12-20 22:46:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

If I open the Application Launcher menu, go into a submenu which opens on the right, and hover the mouse over a submenu of the submenu which doesn't have enough space on the right to open on the right of the submenu, it opens on the top of and hides the current submenu.

The problem doesn't occur always. I don't know what it depends on.

Screenshot of correct behavior

I made a screenshot when the problem didn't occur.

this is a window manager placement issue at best, perhaps even an issue with how Qt decides to place it. i'll let Lubos comment on which.
Comment 5 Pino Toscano 2007-12-22 09:40:06 UTC
Probably a dupe of bug #128315?
Comment 6 Lubos Lunak 2008-01-03 18:56:07 UTC
Either the launcher or Qt problem.
Comment 7 Dario Andres 2009-04-03 00:42:57 UTC
This looks like fixed on current 4.3trunk. I don't have a small resolution screen to try to reproduce this bug if you don't have space in any horizontal direction.
Currently: if I put the launcher on the right side, every sub menu is opened to the left instead of the right. Even the second level ones.
