Version: 1.0.1 (using KDE 3.5.7 "release 72.2" , openSUSE 10.3) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-rc5-git When using a special network using a Microsoft IRC server Konversation disconnects and reconnects every few minutes. I was on Freenode at the same time without any disconnects. The server is known to make strange things (or not support at all, don't remember) with the ping command. I remember lagmeter needs to be turned off in xchat not to flood the server log with error messages. If you want to try out: -irc.feuerwehrmann.de -test channel is &feuerwehrmann.test -server language is German -you can't create new channels (op only) -there is a strict real name policy: no fake realnames I'm hanging around in &feuerwehrmann.computer when I'm online in case of any questions (nick Dakon).
AFAIK the server does not like the "LAG<num>" argument given on the ping command. If I read RfC2812 correctly you can't even blame him for this.
Hmm I guess we need to add an option to disable the lag check in the network config.
It seems as of 2020 this still doesn't exist. I found no way to disable the lag check in server or general config.
