Description Tom Björkholm 2007-12-16 21:11:23 UTC
Version: 1.9.6 (enterprise 20070904.708012) (using KDE 3.5.7 "release 72.2" , openSUSE 10.3)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22.13-0.3-default

I pressed the delete key for a number of messages.
My (reported) trash folder size grew to 152.4 MB.
I emptied the trash folder. The reported size was still 152.4 MB.
I quit kmail, and restarted it.
The reported size of "trash" was still 152.4 MB.
I used the menu entry "Local Folders" -> "Compact all folders".
The reported size of "trash" was still 152.4 MB.
I used the menu entry "trash" -> "Compact folder".
The reported size of "trash" was still 152.4 MB.
I quit kmail again, and restarted it.
The reported size of "trash" was still 152.4 MB.
I am checking the files in the file system and it appears
that the trash folder files are really compacted, but kmail
still reports the old big size.
