Description Fri13 2007-12-16 16:19:01 UTC
Version: 3.97.1 (20071206) (using KDE KDE 3.97.0)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

KDE4 konqueror settings window resize automatically when user selects "java&javascript" or "plugins" part.

Problem is that configure window gets bigger size than laptop 1280x800px screen can show and because KDE4 Plasma panel is big, OK, Apply and Cancel buttons gets under that panel.

Configure windows should be redesign to allow be smaller and have scrollbar on side like other KDE4 apps have. Problem is that Function buttons (OK, Apply, Cancel) should ever be hided so user cannot see them until using scrollbar.

But now user needs to move window to get those buttons, even java&javascript and plugin window have spaced alots what could be removed and make configure window height as 500px so even 800x600 screen could see that as once.

I can confirm this - window is getting bigger, but I can reach all buttons on 1280x800 screen, I'm probably using different fonts. The window is big though - it would not fit into a smaller screen.

Confirmed also in 4.1.60 svn trunk 831729.
The configuration window is smaller, but not as small as to fit in a 800x600 screen. Only with window managers that allow to move parts of a window outside the screen (like Icewm) I can see the Ok,Apply,Cancel buttons.
