Version: (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources Compiler: gcc-4.1.2 cmake-2.4.7 OS: Linux Widgets are cute and fun but there is a real loss of usability and function in KDE4 without desktop icons, links and folders.
(No need for "KDE4:" in the title, as plasma exists only for KDE 4.)
Desktop icons are currently being worked on and some bugs are being ironed out. Expect to see an initial implementation this week.
