I have composite enabled and when I right click on any item wich has an popup menu (desktop, dolphin, etc) it opens the menu, closes it directly and repoens it again. In doplhin it opens the file I right click on and shows the popup menu twice (like above).

It is also when opening normal menus in the menu bar via left click.

Can you still reproduce using more recent KDE version like KDE4.1.3 or trunk? What vide card/driver are you using?
