Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux For consistency, it would be nice if the "Export to Flickr" part of kipi-plugins could provide an option to remove spaces in tags during export. eg, "London Museum" -> londonmuseum
Why do you want an option to remove space in tags strings ? You can just enter tag strings like you want in the line edit widget... Or perhaps you ask about digiKam tags imported by the plugin ? Gilles Caulier
Hi Gilles, Wow! You sure are busy! You are correct - I am thinking about digikam tags imported by the kipi-plugin.
Ok, i will take a look But please checkout if http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155270 is fixed in first... Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier
heh I was in the process of testing when you wrote this I think. Bug report now updated for that request. This request (#153206) probably isn't so important - nice for consistency, but doesn't appear to have attracted any interest from other users. thanks!
SVN commit 811384 by cgilles: added new option to strip white space from host applications tags. BUGS: 153206 M +4 -4 flickrtalker.cpp M +11 -0 flickrwidget.cpp M +2 -0 flickrwidget.h M +8 -0 flickrwindow.cpp M +1 -0 flickrwindow.h WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=811384
Gilles, Thanks for this one - works like a charm with SVN version. This is really great - already I can see it will save lots of time in my workflow. (No more deleting a bunch of bad tags created by whitespace!) Many thanks! tauri
