Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22-5-default

Hi,
When using html textformatting in the composer, the mail will be sent as plaintext.

Probably true.
The current composer has lots of problems because it was partly rewritten.
These problems are all on my todo list, but I seriously lack the time to fix them before the release :(
