Description maini10 2007-11-24 11:28:52 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.96.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Installing KDE 4 RC1 (with 3.5.8 still installed) the menu entry for Firefox 3 doesn't start the browser, but open in Kwrite the file /usr/share/applications/firefox-3.0.desktop.
Firefox 3 runs normally if you launch the command through Alt+F2.

So the bug appears on kde4, while on kde3 firefox3 can be launched correctly any way?
Comment 2 maini10 2007-11-24 18:18:19 UTC
Exactly, KDE 3 hasn't this problem.
Comment 3 maini10 2007-12-17 17:46:29 UTC
Now, in KDE 4 RC2 creating a manual menu entry for Firefox 3 (with Kmenueditor) it works also in KDE 4. It's possible that this bug was fixed.
