Description Anton 2007-11-23 18:39:10 UTC
Version: 0.2 (using KDE 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.1)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

The problem is that i can't save certain configuration parameters in the "system settings" -> "Regional & Language" ->second tab.(I don't know the exact english translation of this tab name, but i think it's something like "switching parameters")
More precisely i can't save the fact that i have two keyboard layouts.
I have to manually check the checkbox everytime i login.
Thanks
Anton.

I add to this that the settings for the layout of the keyboard keep reverting to US English (which was the default) even though I have chosen the United Kingdom layout in the settings menu and on the kicker bar. Everytime I shut down and then restart the computer later, the settings are back to the default USEnglish.
So guessing that the settings are not being saved.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Kcontrol has been replaced by System Settings in Plasma. Please give the latest version of that a try, and open a new bug in "systemsettings" if you continue to have an issue. Thank you!
