Description sr.nremt 2007-11-22 15:49:11 UTC
Version: kjobviewer (using KDE KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: open suse 10.3 RPM
OS: Linux

upon installing my printer (HP 2600)everything worked fine and printed. however if i disconnected the usb cable then plugged it back in at a later time the system will not recognize that i had reconnected the printer usb cable without me entirely reinstalling the printer. i tried to refresh the connection but it does not good it has to be reinstalled for the printer to function.

Closing due to age, KDEPrint unmaintained, and appears to be a config issue possibly with hplip or openSUSE Yast rather than KDEPrint.
