(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konsole Version: v1.9.8 (KDE 2.0) Severity: normal Compiler: gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release) OS: Linux 2.2.14 i586 (compiled sources) Hello First of all I would like to propose that the option "show menubar" doesn't exist at all in this mode. Since there is allways a menubar on top of the screen whether konsole is the active application or not konsole's menu should be visible on top of the screen. Then here is the problem: At some actions the Konsole menu dissapears. To simulate this activate "show menubar" and then set konsole to full screen. Then turn off full screen again. The konsole menu is now gone. Greetings Daniel Mantione
I can't reproduce it neither with KDE_2_2_BRANCH nor KDE 2.1. Daniel says he still can reproduce it with KDE 2.2.
I can't reproduce this bug with 3.0.3. -mark http://mark.stosberg.com/
I can not reproduce with KDE CVS. Can we close it? Daniel?
After testing this for some time, I see no more problems about the disappearing menubar. First part of this bug report was about "Show Menubar" being active with MacOS style menu. Since I can clearly see a need for this option even with MacOS style, I vote for leaving as is (RMB gives the menubar back, perheaps we need a key shortcut for this, but this is not what this BR is about). Since there was no disappearing menubar reported since KDE2.2 I close this report as WORKSFORME. (since the problem was never followed down to a LOC, ok?)
