Version:           0.2 (using KDE 3.96.00 (KDE 4.0 Beta4), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.8-0.7-default

When changing something in a settings module and then clicking the "back to overview" button in the toolbar, a dialog pops up asking for "unsaved changes - apply/discard".
In this situation, the background of the system settings application is no longer redrawn when you move this dialog (you'll see shadows of the dialog over and over)

Oh, sorry. Reproduced at KDE-4.0.0 with x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc-4.1.1. Systemsettings version 4.0.0.

Martin, would you change the bug to reflect the latest environment where the bug is reproducible, please? Thanks!

3.96.2 is the highest number I can select and it's already set.
Don't know why there is no 4.0.0 version ...

I noticed a different systemsettings redraw bug, but I can't reproduce this one in 4.1.3.  (I'll report mine separately).  Is anyone who saw this bug able to re-test with a more recent version?

on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.28.8

I can't reproduce this. Closing as WORKSFORME
