libgpod is a library that provides functions to synchronize data including calendar, addressbook and notes,  with Apple' ipods. Would be nice to have this sync feature in pim.kde

In fact, these are stored as regular files in special directories on iPod and need not libgpod at all. You may have luck adding them as Akonadi resources and synchronising them somehow with your other resources.
