Description Martin Koller 2007-11-02 18:37:05 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.95.00 (KDE 4.0 Beta4))
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.8-0.7-default

In KDE3 when I use text completion "DropdownList & Automatic", I have always the cursor inside the line edit widget and can move it freely.
In KDE4 I can not see the cursor (seems the input focus is somewhere else).
This makes it harder to use.

Confirmed. You can move in the edit field, just that it's not visible where you are.
Comment 2 Grósz Dániel 2008-01-13 14:48:50 UTC
Confirmed, in Konqueror, Dolphin and file dialogs.

@comment #4: That's strange, the bug is still there for me in SVN trunk rev. 831391...

Comment 7 Martin Koller 2009-07-28 20:12:01 UTC
The way it is in 4.3 is still a little strange, as I need to move the cursor to the right when an autocompletion item is shown so that the whole text is black (no longer grey), but then I can move the cursor.
Seems I can live with that.
