Version: SuSe 10.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.8) Installed from: SuSE RPMs This is similiar to 57541. I receive mail with k-mail but cannot receive it. Am using KDE shipped with SuSe 10.3 Just downloaded it and have checked to make sure this was done correctly. Have checked the custom host name. I do not know what that is but used two names I feel should work. I can work around this by going to my service provider and sending mail but would rather not. KDE version 3.5.7
I now this may annoy you, but: are you 100% you configured sending options correctly and you set you identity also correctly? Btw. in what way this is similar to the other report -- you cannot send mail or you cannot send confirmations of receiving?
Custom hostname is not needed in the most cases. Are you sure your login, password, host and port fields are entered correctly?
Dear Maciej, I cannot send mail. Dave P.S. I do not think this will go through On Friday 02 November 2007 01:47:42 pm Maciej Pilichowski wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail]

Marking as WORKSFORME as the reporter didn't replied the last time and it seemed sending mail worked.
