Description Martin Koller 2007-11-01 15:20:21 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.95.00 (KDE 4.0 Beta4))
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.8-0.7-default

In systemsettings/About Me/Path I wanted to change a path. I clicked the "open file dialog" button and got the "Select Folder" Dialog.
I see all directories in my / directory (lib, doc, ... home, ...)
I click on "Home" in the sidebar of this dialog, and the tree gets expanded and correctly marks "martin" (which is below /home).
So far so good.
I now click on the already highlighted "martin" - bang - the treeview ends up in suddenly selecting "sbin" (which is immediately above /home) ... Huh?

I again scroll down to see "/home/martin" and double click it ... but it does not expand (which it did in KDE3).

Next Try: I cancel the dialog. Reopen it.
Now I type "/home/martin/test1" in the lineedit at the bottom and click the "OK" button.
But in the textfield for the "Desktop path" which I wanted to change, appears
"/" ... and not "/home/martin/test1"
